Little Horse Hiking Trail
Little Horse Trail Hike
Little Horse Trail to Chicken Point Overlook Trail: Enjoy incredible views of red rocks, wild flowers and iconic Arizona landmarks, including Cathedral Rock on this 4 mile round-trip Sedona hiking trail. The Little Horse Trail is well maintained and takes hikers towards Chicken Point Overlook, a famous stopping point for Pink Jeep Tours.
If you’re planning a trip to Sedona, you may want to add this as your third or fourth hiking tour. Although scenic, the trail isn’t as impactful as other popular Sedona hikes, including Devils Bridge, Cathedral Rock or Bell Rock. However, if you desire to hike around less crowds & see more open space, this trail is for you! In addition to enjoying views of the Sedona red rock valley, the trail offers a few glimpses of the Chapel of the Holy Cross.
Tip: Make sure to bring plenty of water, sun protection & safety gear as this trail is more remote and isolated compared to other Sedona trails.

Why We Liked It
Little Rock Trail offer hikers the opportunity to soak in Sedona without being surrounded by lots of fellow hikers. We enjoyed the trail’s diversity as it criss-crossed over several creeks and took us to the top of Chicken Point Overlook. At the overlook, we were the only hikers & enjoyed being in the serenity.
