Why We Liked It

We loved taking a time warp back into ancient history & explore the Palatki Heritage ruins. It was incredible to see the timeworn pueblos and learn about the Hopi indians who inhabited the area. Although the hike around the ruins was relatively short, it was fascinated to absorb the history & enjoy the beautiful red rock views. We recommend making this your second or third hiking adventure for the day as there are picnic tables near the ruins & calling ahead to make a reservation.
